"Mammal Brain" was sparked by a book Noisetteya read about the brain's neo-cortex. Inspired by the Limbic System, known as the mammal brain, which influences our moods, emotions, and behaviors. Reflecting on personal experiences, Noisetteya explored how emotions have often dictated her actions, leading to unhealthy patterns. In the painting, a tiger symbolizes these overpowering emotions, while a woman is depicted as being entranced by them. The background portrays a serene meadow, masking the harsh reality of thorns below, symbolizing the allure of self-deception. Noisetteya aims for the piece to resonate with others, reflecting on our shared struggles and the importance of self-awareness in shaping our lives consciously.
